1995 TAOC Should Be Best Ever

March 7, 2025

This year is special. We will be celebrating our 50th anniversary of being a state agency for aviation in Texas. The Texas Airport Operators Conference agenda is packed with great topics and great speakers. This annual conference, sponsored by the TxDOT, Aviation Division and the Texas Association of Airport Executives (TAAE), provides presentations and workshops designed specifically for airport sponsors and operators of general aviation airports.

As we have done in the past, aviation awards will be presented at a luncheon banquet on Friday. Awards will be presented for Airport of the Year, Airport Manager of the Year, Most Improved Airport of the Year, and for the first time–a Career Contribution to Aviation Award.

Arrangements are in full swing for the Hangar Party, Thursday, April 27th, from 6:00- 9:00 p.m., with complimentary food, drink, and music by a professional DJ provided. It will be fun to take a brief, nostalgic look back with videos, slides, and music from the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s.

To kick off the conference, over 20 exhibitors will host a Get Acquainted Reception in the Ex- hibit Area from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Come early and join in.

This is going to be a great conference. We hope to see you there!
