We are sponsoring Airport Action Plans for – Hondo, Hallettsville, Alpine, Bowie, Gladewater, Lampasas, Lime- stone County (Mexia), and Palacios. Requests for proposals from consulting firms have been issued and selection should be complete in January.

Terrell Municipal – should be issued their grant in the construction. Advertisement for bids for Terrell’s construction phase will be issued in December and the federal grant will be written immediately following receipt of bids. Construction could begin as early as January.

Center Municipal – In November Center was issued a grant for $2.5 million. This grant is matched by stated grant and local funds for a total project development cost of over 2.7 million. An environmental assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact were recently completed. Design has been completed and land acquisition is currently underway. Notice to proceed for construction will follow completion of the land acquisition.

Consultant and engineering selection complete for – San Saba, Sonora, Crosbyton, Gonzales, and Newton. Consultant negotiations underway for – Wilbarger County, Granbury, Memphis, Cleburne, Hereford, Caddo Mills.

When land and/or design services are complete, grants will be issued under the ’94 Block Grant to – Stephens County, Dimmit County, Houston County, Del Rio, Georgetown, Gilmer, Hamilton, Mineral Wells, and New Braunfels.

Projects near completion – Gaines County, Brownsville, Beeville, and Palestine.
