The previous two years’ events were actually just golf outings where each person playing kept his or her own score.
However, after tremendous growth and interest, the 1st Annual TAC Golf Tournament came into fruition this year. The tournament had 41 players who were divided into 11 teams competing in a Florida Scramble format.
The winning score was 63, and posted by the team of Darrell Phillips, Ben Bums, Marty Hiller and John Blackhall. Each team was below par. Everyone had a great time and expressed much appreciation to the tournament sponsors who provided generous contributions to the event.
The tournament sponsors were Clover Acquisition Corporation, Valley Oil Co. LLC, PBS & J, and Erect A-Tube. KSA Engineers provided a sleeve (3) of balls for each player and Terrell, Hundley, & Carroll Inc., provided golf towels for each player.
The tournament was held at the Bluebonnet Golf Club in Austin.
